Hey everyone!
We played AWESOME this weekend. Thanks to all for coming out and spending time at the courts. A SPECIAL thanks to all the parents who supported the girls and team with words of encouragement and all the delicious treats.
BV took wins against Spearfish (8-1), Vermillion (8-1), Todd County (9-0), and Milbank (8-1). We lost to St. Thomas Moore (3-6) but had some AMAZING matches . . . especially #2 singles (nice work Nelson). We also lost to Rapid City Stevens (1-8). Jami Koens got our only win at #1 singles.
Shout out to the JV girls who got a VARSITY win over Todd County.
All the teams that came had a great time and what great sportmanship we had ALL weekend. Another thanks to the community of Brandon, the school, and the Tennis Association for making this all possible. People LOVE to play tennis in Brandon!!!
Oh, yeah . . . we also had a nice visit from NorthWestern College's coach to watch Jami play a great match against Claire Jones from Vermillion. She beat Jami last year but Jami played great tennis and dominated this year!

Great event this weekend at the courts, Coach Gladis and girls! What a wonderful crowd of fans and a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The girls are playing great. Hope to see them some more this season!
