We ended the tournament in 11th place, overtaking Pierre by 10 points.
The girls had an awesome tournament. We finished with 236 points and 4 consolation flight winners. Every girls played a role in every point we won. Congrats to Jami, Tasha, Erin, Hayley, Haley, and Haylee on a great tournament. The off-season work really pays off!!

The highlight of the year had to be winning the sportsmanship award. There were many deserving teams. I heard the officials talking many times about the great tennis and nice girls throughout the course of the tourney. There were many times in which I saw girls from other teams hanging out, talking, and laughing. That is what the tournament is all about.
I'd like to thank Jami and Tasha for the great years they have given to the program. The last 2 years we have scored over 200 (which is more than some schools have ever won) points at state because of their leadership and dedication to the program.

This season you all won some great matches and proved that you are great sportmen. Even through those bad calls and times when the ball just did not fall your way you represented your school honorably. It was a pleasure to cheer for your terrific tennis and to secretly be glad when the ball did fall your way.
