Hey there tennis fans,
We played the Madison Triangular today and went 2-0. It felt great to play solid tennis in both matches. We played Yankton first and won 6-3. This is all of the girls' first win over Yankton. I have to mention Erin Buse . . . Erin Buse, Erin Buse, Erin Buse! (4 times)!!! Hahaha!
Kidding . . . Erin played very solid all day. She stroked the ball with confidence and hit her angles! Very fun to watch.
#1 doubs (Jami and Tasha) got a huge win against Klimisch and Rockne! Now they just have to take out Mitchell again . . . and Watertown. If they play like they did tonight, they can beat anyone, though! They played doubles from the service line to the net! AWESOME to watch!
Hayley Naasz got an AMAZING compliment from Madison's coach. Said she has beautiful form and just hits through the ball. She played very well all afternoon as well. I saw a lot of smart tennis from her. She set up points and made her girls move.
Rubin and Haylee Thomas played great at #3 doubles as well. When they are on they are tough to beat. They hustled to every ball and it payed off. Rubin was a rock in singles tonight, too, going 2-0 just giving up 1 game all night! That's CRAZY good!
Jenna Baltzer and Erin Spanton also played solid tennis today. Jenna played for about 3 hours straight (5 Matches) and Scranton played the same. They played solid singles, winning both against Madison and beating 2 doubles teams! Nice work!!!
Well, there is more to say . . . I could talk forever, but I don't want to steal all of the thunder from you fans that were their watching!

I focused on Tasha's matches tonight but all the tennis was great. Congratulations on the wins girls...
Tasha and Jamie were succesful at pulling in a doubles win after each had lost to the same girls in singles matches against Yankton. It was impressive to watch them pull together. Hands down the best net game I ever watched Tasha play. Jamie's net play was great too, but I have seen her play with lightning fast reactions at the net before. When the girls play like they did it tonight it would be difficult for anyone to beat them.
Tasha had to remain competitive to the end with her opponent from Madison. She (the Madson girl) tried to stage a comeback late in the match, but Tasha was able to deny it.
Fantastic tennis to watch. I hope to see more on Thursday in Watertown. (rain-rain stay away)
