The tennis girls look really good this year. There has been a lot of hard work this past summer and we may be young, but very deep! We will keep our eyes ahead this week on setting a line-up and getting ready for Brookings and Pipestone. We play at 10:00 vs. Brookings and 12:30 vs. Pipestone on Saturday the 20th.
Our Senior leadership of returning varsity players Naasz and Rubin will be the key to our season this year. Erin Buse (10th Grade) will play our #1 spot and has just finished a great week of practice after coming home from a tennis academy in Texas. She looks as good as any #1 player in the state this year. Hanna Mutschelknaus (8th Grade) has been impressive after a great summer of tournaments and playing with friends. She will big gap that lingered b/w Varsity and JV last year.
We will find out this week what the rest of our line-up will look like.
