S.F. Roosevelt

We played S.F. Roosevelt tonight and played some great tennis. We lost the meet 0-9, but there were a lot of close matches and we had a lot of personal victories in our losses.

Buse played phenominally (is that a word)! What a fun match to watch. If she was coached a little better, I think she would have pulled it out! :^)

#3 Doubles (Mutschelknaus/Marso) took the first set and dropped the next two in close sets. Great #3 doubles points and the never give up attitude won them a lot of really long points!

Naasz, Rubin, and Thomas came out and hit really well against some girls that had power and were very consistent. They all lost some duece points that would have put them right in the match.

Spanton played great against a great athlete. Having been beaten this summer by a 14 year old, I know how Erin feels after loosing to the 7th grader.

Again, tonight wasn't about the loss. Girls became more comfortable at the net, returned well, and found out they could play with some of the best in the state!

Shout out to JV . . . They won 6-3. Great tennis all around. Hannah Johnson played better than I've ever seen her play. Great hustle. I know she became a better player tonight!!!
